When I was young, we only had one television in our house. We watched what our Dad wanted to watch. I learned to love watching sports and The Rockford Files. The dial was the old turner type and my brother actually devised a stick he could use the turn the channels while sitting on the couch. We only only had a few channels: 2, 4, 5, 7, 11 and 13. Plus there was UHF were you could watch ZOOM or Sesame Street.

Now I have a LCD TV. The picture is clearer and I actually have a remote control. Plus I have cable and have hundreds of channels. Maybe this has just made us all a little bit lazier!
