I used to watch Cheyenne a few times as a kid/adolescent growing up. I remember thinking then how big and calm he was as a cowboy. I now watch the series on Encore Westerns. He is what all other bloggers are saying..a man's man. His acting and calming way that he speaks is so refreshing. A true gentleman..and if i was a woman, i can see how they would have been crazy about him. I'd have to say it is one the best Western series, right up there with Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Wagon Train, and i would include Little House on the Prairie as a family Western.

your STILL the man Clint !!

As a young boy in the late 50's, we lived in a foster home. I really do remember the westerns of those days. Shows like Cheyenne taught us many of lifes lessons. I have always lived by what was learned then. I read recently that they were phased out because of the violence, or at least toned down. My brother Bill and I were always fond of your shows. If you could be so kind, a picture of you on a horse would be terrific. If not, thanks for all you did for us, even though we never met. The true power of TV was what we learned from you. Take Care, Joe

I was born in 1954 so I didn't get to see many Cheyenne shows. I do remember him as being absolutely gorgeous so when Cheyenne reruns came on, I started DVR'ing them. I got on his website and ordered a picture of him. Since he and his wife run his website, I emailed and asked them if they were ever coming to my neck of the woods, (WA state) and they kindly answered telling me of a possible show in Reno, NV. I was and am blown away by their kindness and accessability to fans. What a great man. Got my autographed pic of him in the mail today and it will be prominently displayed in my library! Thanks Clint.

I look at "The Cheyenne Show" every other evening. They use to come on doing the evening but they changed to the morning, so I have my wife to record them on the DVR so I could watch them when I come home from work. I have always been and always will be a Clint Walker fan. The guy is so humble in everything he does, it's like he could have been a preacher. Thanks for all your shows. There aren't many people like you around anymore. Again, thanks and God bless you and your family.

I am close to 70 and remember well the Cheyenne series as well as others Clint played in. It is such a treat to see those reruns now. Watched one this evening. Clint was always one to be admired
for his calm demeanor and understanding ways. Thanks for giving
us a better way of looking at life. The movies of today leave so much to be desired. Most are very empty.

I am very much interested in what Clint is doing now, I have watched all of his movies since he started making them. He seems like a wonderful guy and well loved by his fans and it would be great to hear from him if he had the time to email me back. I am from El Paso, Texas and am 62 yrs young, also am a big western movie fan (they just did not make enough with you in them!).
The one fan who said he looked good for his age certainly correct.....you can tell he has taken good care of himself. God Bless, Ramon Villicana, Fairfield, California
