Tennis for Two

Long before the release of the new Playstation 3 or XBox 360, the first video game was demonstrated at Brookhaven National Laboratory – Tennis for Two. The game was introduced on October 18, 1958 at Brookhaven’s annual visitor day.
The game was played with two separate controllers that were connected to an analog computer. The screen was an oscilloscope. The game was created by nuclear physicist William Higinbotham. Hundreds of people lined up to play the game.
