Tom Burlinson
I recently found a copy of The Man from Snowy River DVD (1982) at Walmart and remembered how I loved the movie. The lead character, Jim Craig, was played by Tom Burlinson. In the beginning of the movie, Jim’s father dies due to an accident caused by wild horses. Jim must go down to the low country and make a living and prove himself to his employer. In the meantime, he falls in love with his employer’s daughter.
Tom was born on February 14, 1956 in Canada. In 1979, he landed a role in an Australian Soap Opera. He appeared in the sequel to The Man from Snowy River in 1988 as well. He has had numerous roles in Australian television and movies and currently is a judge on the Australian reality show “Australia’s Got Talent.”
In 1991 Tom sang the voice of the young Frank Sinatra in the Warner Brothers mini-series ‘Sinatra’ which led him to star in a one man show “Frank – A Life in Song.” Tom has also appeared in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and as Leo Bloom in the Australian production of “The Producers.”

Tom is amazing. If i am not looking, i could mistake him for Sinatras’ voice.
