Kid Nation

October30

I don’t know if any of you have had the chance to watch Kid Nation on CBS, but I did watch a couple episodes and it was quite annoying. Besides the fact that it seemed incredibly staged and that I don’t know a lot of 10 year olds with the vast vocab that some of these kids have, the episodes were just drawn out. Most of the kids seem like they were wannabe child actors and that’s how they got the “part” in the first place. Come on! One of the nine year old kids said his “hero” was Al Gore and that he had read the book An Inconvenient Truth. How many nine year olds are reading that?

I just hope they are offering life insurance for kids in case some of the children decide they are really living in the old west!

Well, thanks for the report. I won’t bother and probably wouldn’t have to start, but we have watched some reality shows in the past like Survivor. I think the end is in sight for this kind of TV.

BTW U PEOPLE MOST WAS NOT STAGED! THE PEOPLE OF KID NATION WERE VERY CAUTIOUS OF WHO THEY PICKED TO BE ON THE SHOW! IN CASE U GUYS DIDNT KNOW THEY PICKED THE MOST INTELLIGENT KIDS THEY COULD FIND OUT OF THE THOUSANDS THAT WERE APPLICANTS! THEY KNEW TOGETHER THESE EXTREMELY SMART KIDS COULD FIND A WAY TO FORM A BETTER SOCIETY! SO NO IT WAS NOT STAGED AND BTW THE KIDS WERE NOT ABUSED EITHER THEY HAD THE OPTION TO GO HOME WHENEVER THEY WANTED TO, AND THEY WERE DOING ALL THIS STUFF FOR MONEY AND HECK FOR 20,000 DOLLARS OR 50,000 DOLLARS i WOULD CLEAN AND COOK AND WORK ALL DAY! THANK YOU!
