Reviews and More

I know I usually post about movies and TV shows from the past, but today I want to tell you about a great blog that features current reviews - Reviews and More! J.E.’s blog is very simply and easy to navigate. I love the style of this blog. It is easy to find reviews about movies, TV shows, books, services and websites (just to name a few).

Since I have been watching American Idol, I have been tuning into the show that follows it - Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? I was pleased to find a review on this very show! J.E. hits the nail right on the head - the contestants are definitely not brainiacs and the pace of the show is so incredibly slow! I could not just set there and watch it without flipping the channels between questions! This will not be a long lived show.

A movie that I have been meaning to rent is Lady in the Water by M. Night Shyamalan. I am a big fan of Unbreakable, The Sixth Sense and The Village (I still haven’t seen Signs). After reading J.E.’s review though, I am not sure I will like it. I will probably still rent it, but at least I know now that there are some big plot holes!
